Re: Thank You Mens!

I would join you in a heartbeat - but first need to secure a new coil, and we are headed to Barcelona on Thursday, with some final fixin’ to get done. Gotta take a raincheck this time…..but there will be another time, indeed. Tom, you did more than you think. Offering to run out with parts, on a Sat...

Thank You Mens!

Having had a wonderful afternoon, sitting on the 206 bridge and watching the tide run out, I VERY SINCERELY than kMike and Tom for their efforts to get me back on the road. Mike, especially, for his company and wonderful way of keeping things real. You guys really are great people, and I owe you bot...

Re: Awaiting Dorian

Still up in Pennsylvania and watching intently. Now noontime and things are - hopefully! - looking better. Saw that surge numbers are down, now 2’-4’ instead of 5’-7’ earlier. Be back first week of October....but had knee replaced yesterday so Cobra will stay up north. For now, anyway. Best wishes t...

Re: Some days you are the windshield...

Oh man......Tom, you surely have my heartfelt sympathy. Worse than any ego hit is having to look at what has happened. All will be right, of course. But boy, this sucks. :(

I like Chevys :-)

Ran a 1968 Nova in D/MP in the mid-70’s; 331” small block, tunnel ram, big ol’ Dana 60 with 5.14’s. Would go 10.04 / 132 mph against a 10.15 / 135 mph class record. Then Reher / Morrison showed up with their 287”, 10,000 rpm ‘65 Corvette and went 9.44 / 139++ mph, only to get quicker/faster every mo...

Re: Motor Parts

Ugh. Die grinder work. It is the pits. Can’t be faulted for wanting to avoid that.

Gonna make nice power. All Chevys do.....just in their bones.

Besides, they really are gorgeous parts. Pistons, anyway. Ken, why no...
