Re: 1968 Triumph TR250 restoration

I've made a video of color sanding and buffing the hood for the Triumph.
It's about 10mins long.

After race inspection

Track Picture

I don't know exactly where this shot was taken, but after looking at the higher resolution copy it looks like the left rear is squated and the right front is being pulled off the track...now that is hooked up  By the location of the yellow tape I have for the top of the steering wheel it is...

Best toy wins

When I was racing I had a ramp truck to haul the Late Model that looked impressive for its time.

Tired Cobra Part 2

Taking the car out of the trailer left a trail of oil drops..
Post race inspection showed that my gut feeling was on point about the Cobra being tired also.
Valve cover had developed a major leak. (sorta looks like a big block Ford  :oldmoon: )
(sorry about that Tom)

Cobra got tired also part one

I skipped the last session as I was getting a little tired and my gut was telling me the Cobra was a bit tired also. Post race inspection has told me that my gut was right on. The fan issue showed up after the second session. I was lucky in both the fan staying in the front area and that it didn't ...

Daytona 4/21/23

I was parked by couple of nice young fellows who were there for practice and the team photographer really liked the cobra so he asked me if it was ok to take some pictures.

1968 Triumph TR250 restoration

Its been a while sense I've done an update on the Triumph.
As explained in the video we had trouble when I painted it New Year's weekend and it sorta knocked the wind out of us for a while.

Now things should be back to making progress.
