Re: Carburetor problems (I believe)
Dexter, If the car has been sitting for a long time, the most likely culprits are old gas and sticky floats / needle valves. The fact that you threw flames out supports this. If the needle valves stick open you are going to flood. The carb likely needs to be disassembled and cleaned. Since you have ...

Re: Ceramic coating
Mike,
That looks great. Love the Webers and the crazy pipes. The ceramic looks nice.
Just something for thought. The crossover fuel line seems awefully close to the headers. You could get some really hot fuel on one bank. God forbid if there was a leak, which fuel pressure gauges are infamous for.

Re: DSCC Reptile Roundup Oct 2017
Tom, Here are our tentative plans. John and Debbie are rolling up I-95 and meeting with someone from Mount Dora. I am not sure if we will meet up with them or not. I am going to give him our stops as we are going the slow way. Hopefully we meet along the way. Dennis is coming to my house in Jax Beac...

Silver w/ blue stripes wrecked
After leaving the Jax Beach cruise in last Tuesday, my friend saw a Silver with blue stripe Cobra that had been wrecked being put on a flatbed on Beach Blvd. I don't want it to be anyone, but especially not one of us. Anyone here?

Re: DSCC Reptile Roundup Oct 2017
Tom, My wife and I are going from Jax Beach. One Cobra is coming from Green Cove Springs (Dennis - now with paint!). I am working on meeting up with one or two others from West Palm (John and Debbie) and central FL (someone new). They may be stopping here on Wed night or coming through on Thurs. Not...

Re: Carburator adjustment Holley 4150
I agree that you need to make sure that the timing is correct at idle and at max advance first. The very first thing on the carb itself is to get the t-slots set correctly. If those are not set, everything will be erratic. After that, each circuit has to be done in the correct order, starting with i...
