Ken,
No video or data. My camera mount must have caught yours' disease - it wouldn't adhere to the windshield and I ran out of time to try more options.

Re: SCCA Track Night Daytona 8-1-2019
Mike, The other two videos were from the dash cam of the guy behind him - I think Hardin was just being polite and letting him go by with a small smoke-bomb salute  As soon as we can figure out how to give him the appropriate credit, we plan to get his videos posted - or linked - whatever w...

Re: SCCA Track Night Daytona 8-1-2019
Here are four iPhone videos I took during the day.
First, idling in the staging area:
On the high bank between NASCAR turns 3&4:
Going through the U in the infield part of the course:
Passing a Mustang in the U:
Enjoy!

Zephyr eats motor mounts
As described under the TNIA thread in the Cobra Stuff forum, the Zephyr didn't make it to the track. The first and most obvious diagnosis led me to think the oil pressure gauge line had a hole rubbed in it while chafing against the firewall. I was disappointed I hadn't placed my usual split rubber h...

SCCA Track Night Daytona 8-1-2019
It was the best of times. It was the worst of times... We set out Thursday afternoon for the Daytona track to attend the Track Night in America (TNIA). Hardin driving the Zephyr, me with the Cobra in the trailer since it might pour rain on us. Almost to I95 on US1 (a bit south of Smokin' D's if you...

Re: Track Night in America comes to Daytona!
Ken, Spectator entry and parade laps Thursday are free. Also, Hardin or I would be happy to take him around in either car - both have passenger side roll bars and 5-point harnesses. Tim's choice. The parade laps are at 7PM today (weather cooperating) - not sure what time they are supposed to happen ...

Re: Track Night in America comes to Daytona!
Mike, I think that's for the on-line registration. Possibly registration can be done at the track on Friday morning also. If you go here: https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/divisional-time-trial-track-event-driver-reg-daytona-intl-speedway-scca-470287 and download the final rules PDF, you can see ...

Re: Track Night in America comes to Daytona!
Well, the Novice and Intermediate slots are taken. You can still do parade laps around the 3.5 mile Rolex 24-Hour course: this is what their schedule says 7:00PM - Track Tour Laps (Open to All) Uh, the schedule also says * Times are an approximation (Weather and on-track issues can play havoc with a...

Re: Vapor lock
Ken, Looks like neat stuff to try. The good news is that if it doesn't work, it doesn't break the bank. If one of my toys still had a carb, I'd certainly try it; I tried everything else  I did try a fuel pressure regulator with a return line (also way more than $8) but it didn't work either. T...
