Ken,

Thanks for the updates!

Interesting about the checkered past of the body - sounds like you got it back together properly.

I need to alert Carl and the painter as to when you think would be a good time to fetch it and take it to the paint shop.

You must have kept your head down and your elbows flying :-bd

Tom

PS: Would the crack in the scoop be best done by you or by the painter?

I'll have another couple of days on it.
Had to get it done so I can go back to my motor. Body and engine work just don't play nice together.

I still need to do the spot on the scoop. And we need to talk about the oil cooler horizontal baffle. I'll call you around Tuesday.

Ken,

Thanks again - sounds fine!

I'll be a little flexible-sounding when I check in with the paint shop and Carl. It's more important to get it to a point you are satisfied with.

Down to the last. The nose is all fixed and ready to take to paint.
Here are a few pictures of the Hood scoop crack. I'm not the first person to be there either.

Here's a shot of the car on Carl's trailer (thanks Carl!) at Ken's, ready to go to the paint shop:

When I got to the paint shop, one of the first things they told me was that my friend does good work. Thanks Ken!

Now to find out cost and schedule - tomorrow?

I intensely dislike drumrolls...
