Race Fuel

Post by BittenAgain »

Does anyone know of a good source for 110 leaded race fuel locally? (near St. Augustine)

DuckDuckGo is your friend. :p

Here's one possibility: https://www.sunocoracefuels.com/fuel-fi ... &range=300

Thanks, Tom! It says Bunell Sunoco has it at the pump. Maybe next lunch run there for fried chicken!

Bob,

Couple things...

I'd call the station in Bunnell and hope they know what that is.

Also I'd do a bit more research about comparing this to, say, 93 octane unleaded. You'll find some differences. One of the differences I'd suggest looking into is the stoichiometric ratio for each fuel. Some are different enough from each other to cause problems - see here for example (specifically post #4): https://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930 ... hanol.html

Just sayin...

I have also used RaceGas additive with no problems. You can mix it with 92 pump gas to the octane level you need.
