Fan story with pics.
If you are up for another long and winding story this memory came to mind as I was working on the new fan blades for the Cobra. Early in my racing career I was running a 454ci Chevy with Aluminum heads and a L88 solid cam. As with all big blocks over heating was a problem. While working in the Bodys...

When I was looking for fans I noticed sever different pitches were popping up. These came with lots more pitch than the ones that came wi...

Triumph video redo
ooops It seems that my video program had made a copy of my last video before I had done the voice over.
So sorry I wasted 10mins of your time.
So if you have another 10mins to waste...try this link.

Re: 1968 Triumph TR250 restoration
I've made a video of color sanding and buffing the hood for the Triumph.
It's about 10mins long.

After race inspection
I took the other fan off good thing I zip tied it. And I drained the oil seperator on the PCV from the 3 sessions. About a 1/4 cup. During my research on replacing the fan. It seems like they were taken from the heater box of full size fords back in the day. They are used in refrigerators and stuff ...

Track Picture
I don't know exactly where this shot was taken, but after looking at the higher resolution copy it looks like the left rear is squated and the right front is being pulled off the track...now that is hooked up  By the location of the yellow tape I have for the top of the steering wheel it is...

Best toy wins
When I was racing I had a ramp truck to haul the Late Model that looked impressive for its time.
And my trailer now is fitted up with about everything that I need for a track day.
BUT I am now humbled by these guys. And SCCA doesn’t even pay anything. There’s a motor home in there too

Tired Cobra Part 2
Taking the car out of the trailer left a trail of oil drops..
Post race inspection showed that my gut feeling was on point about the Cobra being tired also.
Valve cover had developed a major leak. (sorta looks like a big block Ford
)
(sorry about that Tom)
