And that's just what was found in the rubber boot covering the clutch fork outside of the bellhousing, I can only imagine what we'll find inside once the bellhousing is removed...

Well, after the slave cylinder and hose debacle, I figured it was time to catch up on some deferred maintenance & upgrade items starting with the braking system. Ordered new Power Stop Street Warrior front brake kit and Russell braided flex hoses. The rotors and pads showed up yesterday, waiting...

Parts finally arrived yesterday, installed them and refilled the reservoir. Pumped up okay, a bit soft though, so letting it gravity purge overnight. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get any remaining air out of the cylinder.

Well, true to form with Tom's "bolts right in" philosophy...looks like the hydraulic line may have been the real culprit. Installed the new slave yesterday, filled the reservoir with fresh Dot 3 synthetic, pumped the pedal several times and voila...half a container of Dot 3 on the floor......

Driver School is only required if you intend to race in competitive classes, correct?
I don't think it's required to run in PDX, or is it?
It's not really spelled out in the site FAQs.

Understood...haven't received the slave cylinder yet, so not likely my car was going to be roadworthy by Sunday anyway. I think I may just play some golf on Sunday, but thanks for the invite. O}
