Daytona Track Day

As Tom said, we made it to Daytona. I have to admit that I was a little intimidated by the big O'l track. Sense I have never run the Cobra on a wet or damp road I was a little skittish heading out. I elected to go out with the lower HP and slower cars and I choose to start on the tail end. However t...

Re: Daytona/SCCA PDX Sept 30, 2017

The O'l inter web said that some have trouble with the Trick Flow seals climbing up the shaft so I got some from Comp Cams. Can't decide to change them now or wait till after Day...

Re: Nissan = &^^%#@$@$!@

Looks like a mess Tom. Check the battery almost every time I see that much damage the battery has sprung a leak. My "New" used car I got for Janice had the same problem...lucky I saw it at the dealership and they replaced the battery.

Re: Carburator adjustment Holley 4150

Welcome. the running when shutting off is not the carb. The old adage is the first thing to do with the carb is make sure the ignition is in order. There are so many things to look at. Are you using vacuum advance or totally manual. Street cars are not race cars so lots of the things to make power t...

Re: FIRM

Yes it is almost half way between Keystone and Starke on 100. The APP is the same that Tom has but I think he has a better mount. I was jus using my Nitto Street tires for that run. I have a set of Nitto NT01s that I am going to mount this week. The supplier only shipped one front tire and I should ...

Re: FIRM

Forgive the poor video quality. It is my first test with the App and my $20 bkt I think is not quite up to the needs. Also I think the windshield might be vibrating also. The data in the lower left is really cool. Remember to click on the settings in the lower right to pick HD. https://youtu.be/5NPG...

Re: FIRM

On a side note there was a Ferrari and a Lamborghini running also. I was the only Cobra, the Cobra got lots more attention than the "Super Cars".
