I was being a little Plan-B-ish. I was thinking HeliCoils for all the clutch bolts.

Truly another work of art in progress!
BTW, would it be practical to HeliCoil the clutch bolts? I'm sure I have some HeliCoil pieces - whether they're the right size or whether they can be found are other questions...

Well that was fun! I started on the conversion yesterday and continued past 2AM today, then went at it again starting about 6AM this morning.

Mike, Another work of art in progress! The cleanliness seems to be fantastic. A small thought: if you're going to add an oil temp gauge, this might be a good time to install the sensor?
