OK boys and girls, I'm trying to change the web site from a fixed IP to DDNS (Dynamic DNS) so it may be flaky for a while until it teaches me what I need to know to get it right side up again.

AT&T decided to double the rent for the fixed IP, so it looks like a good time to make the change. Besides, DDNS is "free!"

Fingers crossed - the change may take place some time in the next three days. I hope.

Nothing should be lost since the change is external to the server.

Well that was fun! I started on the conversion yesterday and continued past 2AM today, then went at it again starting about 6AM this morning.

A time of "learning experiences." Glad it seems to be working. Whew!
