Heard about this place from William. Went over there and checked it out today. Apparently they have a chassis dyno, and they had a bunch of nice high end cars in the shop, including a white SLC (sibling company to RCR) with an LS9 supercharged corvette motor, sweet ride.

They also do a monthly track day at Daytona that you can sign up for (they have a signup sheet in the front office. Cost is $200, so it’s a nice deal.

I stopped into Power Tek this morning to drop something off for a friend, and while I was there I thought I’d get some additional info on their monthly track outings.

Well, I’m a bit embarrassed to say that my initial post had a few, um, inaccuracies…

They typically run monthly at the Firm in Starke, that’s what the $200 will get you. The next outing is scheduled for 3/18.

They haven’t yet booked the Daytona outing, which is a less than regular occurrence. The price to run with Power Tek at Daytona will depend on how many people sign up. The only thing Paul (shop manager) could tell me for now is that “it will be a lot more”…😉

Paul says they post their outings on social media, so we’ll/I’ll have to follow them to stay aware of their track calendar. Paul also mentioned that they usually ask anyone signed up to run with them, to stop by and leave a deposit at least a week before the scheduled event.
