From Mitch Grant today:

Wanted to share some topics of potential interest with District 7 members.
1. The Club just finished supporting two great events at Daytona International- the HSR Classic 24 Hour; and IMSA Test Days. Both were fantastic and enjoyable to work (albeit, a bit long and grueling). We had wonderful worker attendance and participation with a good number of new folks coming out to help. Thanks to everyone who came out.
2. The Club’s next event is The Turkey Trot at Sebring International. This will be the 40th anniversary of this great race. November 29-30. As of today we still need help flagging. If you can come down for either or both days please register on MSR. We can definitely use the help. Bring all your visiting friends and relatives- they can work, too!
3. The Club’s Awards Banquet and Annual Meeting is being held on Saturday, December 13. This is now a shortened luncheon event. Please plan to attend. It will be a great way to spend a few hours with your fellow racers and club members, and honor our Champions. Register on MSR!!!!! Our guest speaker is Ford Heacock- CEO of the Automobile Racing Club of Florida- a group dedicated to preserving and honoring the history of the Sebring 12 Hour Grand Prix of Endurance.
4. Don’t forget this month’s District 7 meeting at Louie’s Pizza in Daytona, Wednesday, November 19, 6pm. Come on out for pizza, beer, and talking about racing.
