No video today. We have taken the block and head to the machine shop to get "hot tanked" even thou they dont use the old hot tank to clean things and to have hardened exhaust valve seats put in. Also getting the flywheel surfaced while the machines are spinning up....
We have all the undercoat off and I will be calling for an appointment to get the tub sand blasted. Mean time I may patch a few rust holes...

Still waiting for the car and frame to come back from the sand blaster. Here is a little of the busy work we have been doing.

Still just doing small things waiting for the sand blasted parts to be ready. Frame is to be picked up on Monday, body tub on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Re: 1968 Triumph TR250 restoration
Well my brother has gone back to Yankee country so the videos will be a little slower coming. I have many jobs to do while he is gone. The cam came today for the motor so I plan to finish the assembly so I can paint it and bag and tag it for later.
The body tub will be blasted on Friday and I will have to get it into epoxy primer. Then I will decide to rebuild the frame or the body. Only time will tell.
Enjoy the videos.

As a point of interest, I sent off to Triumph the car info and got its "birth certificate" pretty neat what came back.

Got the body shell back to day.
This is my first attempt at making a serious video...my first camera shut off after a few minutes (I think I found the settings). The last couple of segments are with the cheap GoPro knockoff....

That's an amazing amount of work!
It must be nice to be young and full of energy :ymparty:

Tom. I'll take that statement in the manner it was given. But I have to admit that I was one beer away from not spraying the primer today. Glad I did (and I found another beer after it was done
)
Re: 1968 Triumph TR250 restoration
I'm starting to get back on the Triumph TR250. My brother is coming down next week and we will be getting after it again.
I made this video yesterday, I'll be posting a few now and then.
