Well, after the slave cylinder and hose debacle, I figured it was time to catch up on some deferred maintenance & upgrade items starting with the braking system. Ordered new Power Stop Street Warrior front brake kit and Russell braided flex hoses.

The rotors and pads showed up yesterday, waiting on the braided hoses now.
