AT&T strikes again

Sorry for the downtime.
The AT&T DSL modem gave up the ghost so they replaced it. Or I should more accurately say, they sent me a new one. Because time moves on, they sent me a different one from the failed modem.
The good news is that it measures about 50% faster than the old modem.
The bad news is that it took 3 days and around 20 hours to get it to pass data to and from the web site.
Anyhow, it seems OK for the moment. Sigh of relief.
