After race inspection

Post by mooreken »

I took the other fan off good thing I zip tied it.
And I drained the oil seperator on the PCV from the 3 sessions. About a 1/4 cup.
During my research on replacing the fan. It seems like they were taken from the heater box of full size fords back in the day.
They are used in refrigerators and stuff now. I will do some repair upgrades on the new ones.

I got a set of replacement fans off ebay. I'm pretty sure that they are vent fans for home use but they are the correct diameter and have the right mounting hole.
When I was looking for fans I noticed sever different pitches were popping up. These came with lots more pitch than the ones that came with the kit I bought when building.
I feel that the extra pitch may allow the fans to spin too fast for the motors when driving...especially for track days....
So I spent some time reforming them.
