1rad,

Sounds like a very exciting project! Please keep us informed about progress - with many photos of course - and let us know if we can help, heckle or advise

What will you do with it when it's complete?

Tom

I recently bought a New engine for my falcon it is a 1967 A code 289 .030 over, flat top pistons, aluminum edelbrock performer heads, and soon MSD ultra 6AL pro ignition system.the original 289 has bad heads on it so it will get freshened up at a later date! Now that parts are starting to arrive I will start posting more! Once the new 289 is stripped and painted we will bring the falcon over to my buddies shop and change the original sloppy steering box for a new 16:1 Scott drake unit, repaint the engine bay install the under engine brace and clean up a previous owners rough welding work!

What is wrong with the heads? I have some early 289 heads available.

Yesterday I finished pulling the engine transmission and exhaust now the fun starts stripping the undercarriage of all the paint and grime!

Got the windows and window regulators out of the car. Getting them along with the trunk and hood chemically stripped so no more rust!
