Dyno Printout

The tuner is to send me better printouts once he fires up his Dyno computer again. He had taken this photo of the results as he was tuning it. The dotted line is one of the runs before he had done much tuning (or any I'm not sure). The red line is Horsepower, and the blue is torque. As I mentioned b...

Re: Track day with EFI

I have taken the Cobra to the tuner after Daytona and the fuel pump upgrade. He has dialed it in with the new pump. As this tuner has a different brand of Dyno the numbers from my first Dyno run really don't transpose to his. He had told me that his system reports about 15% less than the others. Wit...

Track day with EFI

The Daytona TE day was my first event with the new Sniper efi. I have taken it to a tuner and he did a partial tune. My fuel system would not handle WOT after around 5200 rpm so he didn’t do any full pull runs. I spent the week before Daytona getting and installing an in tank fuel module. I reset th...

Daytona track day

Friday I did a SCCA Track Event. All and all it was a good day. The first session the track was a bit damp and as luck would have it I ended up in pole position for the out lap. As most of you know the first lap of the first session is a slow lap under yellow. I was a bit nervous as I haven’t done a...

Re: Mike's GT40 gets redone

Big congrats on the AC....I always have both relief and pride when doing AC work. It's a little out of my comfort zone....a lot like plumbing around the house...lol

Re: 1968 Triumph TR250 restoration

It’s been a while that I posted an update on the Triumph. My brother and I have been working on it but the slow and careful process of final assembly doesn’t make good video. However we have made progress. Today we threw in a seat and finalized the systems to do the first around the block test drive...

Re: Mike's GT40 gets redone

Sounds great....Even after all these years doing engines, that first start is always so satisfying...Ken
