Installed a few more minor items…back-up camera, license plate, vent windows, etc.
Cleaned up the rear wheels, aired up the tires and reinstalled. I need to figure out why the left rear wheel pin drive holes are mushrooming. Needs further investigation.

Those wheel holes look as if that wheel was run without properly tightening the spinner?

Tom, those spinners were all very tight by my hand. It appears to me the holes on that wheel are undersized for the size of the pin drive lug, and tightening the spinner down as tight as I got them is what mushroomed the holes. I’ll massage the holes a bit with the dremel, I think that will resolve it.

Looking at the photos again: how did the little ridges around the holes get there?
And why does the deformation at that end of each hole seem a bit off center toward the outer part of the hub?
Could you post a picture of that particular hub?
I almost looks as if something was forced into the outer radius of the inner part of each hole, and it was slightly larger than the hole and on an ever-so-slightly larger radius than the hole centers. The sides of each hole toward the center look as though they weren't affected.
Is there a ring of studs holding the hub to the spindle? Same number (5) and slightly larger bolt circle?
Let me see the hub so I can guess some more

Here are a few pics of the driver side rear hub.
On further inspection of the wheels, I see they’re manufactured by Wheelcraftu (made in S.A. for CAV), not made by Vintage Wheels USA as typically supplied by RCR. The pin drive hub lugs are also not as supplied by RCR.
I see evidence that the other three wheels lug holes were minimally machined (slightly OS) to accommodate the red drive lugs, and that this wheel had not been done, hence the mushrooming. I’ve started to gently remove the mushroomed metal with a variety of grinding stones on my dremel. The mushroomed metal was preventing the wheel from sitting flush to the hub, which only caused more mushrooming.
Once I’ve removed all of the mushroomed metal, I’ll gently massage the ID of all lug holes to more precisely match the OD of the lugs. Shouldn’t require much at this point. I think this will effectively resolve the issue. None of the other wheels seem to exhibit the problem.
I’ve also included a few pictures of other cars pin drive hubs as typically supplied by RCR and Vintage Wheels.

Remaining question: Are the holes in the wheel a tiny bit off center? They look as though the damage isn't centered in the holes, but a little bit offset toward the outer part of the hub.
Next question: What centers the wheels? If it's the hub and not the pins, that sounds good. If it's the pins, I will worry...
