It all looks clean and rust free, should look great when it’s done!

Yep, looks like you have good "bones" to work with.
The only advise I would give is to work with one or two sections of the project at a time and finish that section..It help to mentally keep from being overwhelmed. When you stand back after a while and look at it you tend to only see the finished part and it keeps the juices flowing...

Under the battery tray and the shock towers need repair but other than that the only welding we are gonna do is adding bracing and Jack Points!BlackSnake wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2024 11:32 am It all looks clean and rust free, should look great when it’s done!
Did some scraping of old undercoating and grease to get ready for sanding

Yes That is very good advice we have chosen to start with the engine bay and front inner fenders and work our way back!mooreken wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:30 pm Yep, looks like you have good "bones" to work with.

Re: 1965 Falcon Monte Carlo rally car build
Since my last post I have brought the fenders, hood, trunk, and doors to the turkey rod run where the guy that does the chemical stripping is taking them to Wauchula should be getting them back after Christmas. My Export brace and under engine brace have arrived so that will get fitted soon! Here are pictures from Sebring that I took for inspiration for the upcoming subframe connector project and another picture of the mustang at Daytona for the front Jacking point.
