I've signed up for a track day at Daytona Thursday, April 14, 2016.
It's a charity event run by Celebration Exotic Car Festival.
I plan to leave the house at 6AM to be in line for tech inspection at the track at 7AM.
I'm taking the Zephyr ~~(/)
I think you can go to spectate. If you are so inclined, tag along.
If not, and I actually get to run, I'll post a report.

Re: Daytona Track day 4-14-2016
Well, as always good news/bad news.
The good news is I got to run the Zephyr at Daytona! Lots of exotic and fast cars there: Abarth, bunches of Ferraris and Porsches, Camaros, Viper, Corvettes, McLaren. And one old wagon...
Here it is in the pit parking area ready to go: And here it is on the track: GPS data showed a top speed of 128.2. Not bad for a 35 year old grocery getter. Also, I was running 36 psi tire pressure; experts suggested 28 psi, a significant difference which could have helped run substantially better lap times. The guy with the Ferrari shirt on pronounced it "the best car" on the whole track, after which I couldn't get my helmet back on LOL.
Thanks Tony for pit crewing and pictures and Gary and Brian for the pit crew help!
The bad news is there was only one session. There was fluid spraying from somewhere under the back - maybe differential fluid and/or gasoline. That ended the day's activities. The car did drive home just fine - when I look under the back I hope I can diagnose the problem(s) and get to run it at Daytona again.
